Scholarships and Fellowships

  • The JFEW Scholarship program provides 3-year scholarships to young women who are members of CUNY Hillels.

    Students receive:

    • $4000 Scholarship for sophomore, junior and senior years

    • Paid summer internship between sophomore and junior year

    • Professional development opportunities and events

    • 1:1 mentorship and guidance

    Eligibility:

    • Full-time enrollment at a CUNY College

    • Three academic years (6 semesters) remaining

    • Demonstrated financial need

    • Minimum 3.0 GPA

  • The Paulson Leadership Award is designed to support the pursuit of higher education of Jewish students who demonstrate leadership, entrepreneurship, and/or volunteerism in their local or campus community.

    Applicants must have a current GPA of 2.5 or higher to qualify and the applicant’s parents/guardians must not have completed a four-year college or university degree.

    Eligible Colleges: Baruch College, Brooklyn College, College of Staten Island, Hunter College, John Jay College, Lehman College, Queens College, City College

  • Participate in dialogue and collaboration with students of different faiths, fostering understanding and shared community initiatives.

  • Engage in meaningful social justice work, contributing to community service projects and learning about social change.
